The Course

This hands-on course turns the entire IEP process into a clear, repeatable system. You'll learn to write strengths-based present levels, craft SMART, standards-aligned goals, select accommodations vs. modifications, build service schedules, and run calm, collaborative meetings that honor family voice while staying compliant with IDEA. We also dig into data collection and progress monitoring, FBAs/BIPs, transition planning, assistive tech, and realistic case studies backed by checklists, templates, and goal banks you can use right away.

By the end, you’ll streamline paperwork, reduce errors, and walk into meetings confident—whether you’re a special educator, case manager, school psych, SLP/OT, or administrator. The tools and scripts help you lead tough conversations, align general education supports, and turn data into decisions that actually improve student outcomes. You’ll leave with a personal playbook, ready-made report language, and a simple calendar system that keeps compliance on track and progress visible in real classrooms.

What you will learn

I started this course because I kept meeting smart beginners who felt overwhelmed and needed a clear, step-by-step path. I carefully crafted every lesson from real-world experience, breaking big ideas into bite-sized, easy-to-follow actions so you can see quick wins right away. It’s organized as a clean roadmap—foundations first, then guided practice, and finally confident execution—with checklists, templates, and examples that remove the guesswork. You’ll always know what to do next, why it matters, and how to do it well, so you can build momentum fast and feel supported at every step.
